I love this one.
It’s just… in my head, I can see them just staying in the friend zone because it works, and inside they both want to progress onto something real and closer than friends but they’ll never take the plunge.
This is what happens when the fanfic you’re writing suddenly becomes very sad.
The saddest fanfic I’ve ever read in my entire life (actually one of the saddest things ever, period), was totally about them staying in the ‘friend zone’ out of fear. Oh god, so many emotions in that one.
Oh, don’t mention that one! It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it. You’re not forgiven for recommending that one yet!
